What is SendGrid?
Your app sends a request to the SendGrid API; SendGrid delivers the e-mail and reports events such as opens, clicks and bounces back through webhooks. Dynamic templates keep the e-mail design separate from the code.
For transactional e-mail the key metric is delivery: domain authentication, a dedicated IP and a stream kept separate from marketing sends are decisive here.

Questions about SendGrid
SendGrid or Mailchimp?
SendGrid for automated e-mails your app sends. Tools like Mailchimp for newsletters and marketing campaigns.
Why are e-mails late or not delivered?
The most common reasons: an unauthenticated domain, poor reputation and blocked addresses. Event webhooks show the problem.
Do I need a developer?
For the API integration, yes. The marketing team can edit templates visually.
