What is Mailchimp?
In Mailchimp contacts live in an audience and are grouped by tags, segments and behaviour. Campaigns are one-off sends; Customer Journeys react automatically to events such as a sign-up or an abandoned cart.
To see e-mail's effect on revenue you need UTM and GA4 measurement: the key metric is sales from the campaign, not the open rate.

Questions about Mailchimp
Is Mailchimp free?
There is a limited free plan for small lists. Automation and large lists need a paid plan.
Why do e-mails land in spam?
The most common reasons: missing domain authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), an old list and aggressive subject lines.
Mailchimp or SendPulse?
Mailchimp is strong at e-mail with broad integrations. SendPulse combines e-mail, SMS and chatbots in one place at a lower price.
