Semrush: keywords, competitors and site audits in one platform
Semrush is an analytics platform for SEO and digital marketing. Keyword research, competitors' organic and paid strategy, technical audits and rank tracking are in one place. It is one of my main research tools when building an SEO strategy.

What is Semrush?
Semrush stores keyword search volume, difficulty and which sites rank for each keyword. Enter a competitor's domain and you see which pages earn its traffic and which keywords it advertises on.
In small markets like Azerbaijan volume figures are estimates, so I read Semrush together with Search Console data: Semrush shows the opportunity, Search Console the reality.

Questions about Semrush
Is Semrush free?
There is a free account with a limited number of daily queries. Serious work needs a paid plan.
Semrush or Ahrefs?
Both are strong. Semrush is seen as stronger on ads and content tools, Ahrefs on its backlink database. Usually choosing one is enough.
Is the data accurate for the Azerbaijani market?
Volume figures are estimates. I check decisions against real impression and click data in Search Console.
